EXPERIENCE

Robin Schilling is a Senior Scientist of BBJ Group’s Chicago office. She has 20-plus years of consulting experience as a client manager and project manager for multi-discipline projects for U.S. and global clients in a variety of sectors including Manufacturing; Oil & Gas; Food, Beverage and Agri-business; Pharmaceutical; Chemical; Aerospace and Technology.

Ms. Schilling is a due diligence expert who has managed and completed hundreds of real estate transaction and M&A projects of varying size, complexity, and industry, representing both buyer and sellers, and their various advisers. As an experienced site investigation and corrective action professional, she is able to provide advice throughout the transaction process, working with clients to identify solutions to potential contamination issues that may arise, either through subsurface investigations and planning for remediation activities to achieve regulatory closure for such issues, or through exploring alternative solutions such as insurance or contractual protections.

Robin also has a wealth of experience in conducting and managing EHS and Management Systems audits at facilities both at home and abroad. She is known for her consistent auditing approach and ability to identify and prioritize non-conformances. She works with both corporate and facility managers to develop corrective and preventive action (CAPA) plans to resolve issues or trends identified in the auditing process. She provides advice that goes beyond simply obtaining and maintaining regulatory compliance through EHS plans and permits, by looking for continuous improvement opportunities through training and support throughout the CAPA process.
