About Ashley Steffen

Ms. Steffen is a licensed Professional Geologist (MO) and certified Engineer in Training (EIT) with a B.S. in Geological Engineering from Missouri University of Science and Technology. She has worked in environmental consulting since 2021 and currently serves as a Project Manager and Geologist at BBJ Group. Ms. Steffen played a key role in developing BBJ’s ESG Practice Group, contributing to ESG strategy, reporting, disclosure compliance, and supplier engagement for clients across North America and Europe. Since 2021, she has led numerous site assessments, remedial investigations, and ESG initiatives across the U.S. and Europe. Ms. Steffen is a technical lead at BBJ Group, managing projects such as firing range assessments and lead contamination surveys for the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service. Her experience spans multiple sectors such as agriculture, construction, government, manufacturing, and real estate, with technical expertise in groundwater modeling, vapor intrusion, contaminant fate and transport, ESG reporting, and remediation.
