Assessing Environmental Impairment

BBJ Group regularly investigates surface and subsurface media (including soil, surface water, groundwater, soil gas, and indoor air) at properties located throughout the United States and abroad. BBJ Group’s experienced professionals are qualified to assess impacts on groundwater and soil, as well as the potential for vapor intrusion conditions.

Clients engaged in property transactions or brownfields redevelopment often require environmental investigations as a core component of Due Diligence. By completing site investigations, potential real estate purchasers and sellers are able to ascertain the environmental quality and “as-is” value of property. As a core competency, BBJ Group has a strong background in collecting and evaluating the environmental data needed to develop opinions of cost to address environmental impairments.
