EXPERIENCE

Mr. Tanaka has over 35 years of environmental and civil and environmental engineering project execution and management experience. He has extensive experience in field supervision, technical management, project administration, and staff management and training. His primary areas of technical expertise are site investigation, design, and system installation (including construction management and operation and maintenance), which have been conducted pursuant to various regulatory programs (e.g. Superfund, RCRA, and voluntary cleanup). Remedial technologies used include traditional excavation and disposal and various in-situ biological and chemical treatment methods. He has been the project engineer or project manager for many brownfield projects, including the remediation of a steel mill slag disposal site into a championship golf course; an asphalt production plant into a warehouse used by a Fortune 500 retailer; and numerous small to medium-sized sites (e.g. dry cleaners, service stations, commercial property) for commercial, industrial, and residential redevelopment. Mr. Tanaka is a registered Professional Engineer in multiple states.
