About Michael Sams

Mr. Sams is a Project Geologist and Pittsburgh Branch Manager at BBJ Group with over seven years of experience in environmental consulting. He specializes in site investigations, site remediation, and regulatory compliance, with expertise in soil, groundwater, and air sampling, vapor mitigation, and multi-media assessments. He is also a member of the Pittsburgh Geological Society (PGS), Pittsburgh Airport Area Chamber of Commerce, Air & Waste Management Association (AWMA), and Interstate Technology and Regulatory Council (ITRC).

Since joining BBJ Group in 2023, Mr. Sams has supported and managed projects across the U.S., including petroleum remediation, PFAS investigations, and emergency response work. His work spans diverse business sectors such as oil & gas, mining, manufacturing, real estate, and government, consistently delivering practical, cost-effective environmental solutions.
