BBJ Group has crafted a tailored ESG data management platform that seamlessly integrates sustainability and ethical impact metrics, and which enables efficient data collection, standardized reporting, and regulatory compliance across hundreds of operational facilities.

Project Overview

BBJ Group developed a secure, customizable ESG data management and reporting platform for a publicly traded Fortune 500 manufacturer of commercial foodservice and industrial kitchen equipment. Operating more than 100 global brands and facilities across North America, Europe, and Asia, the company faced mandatory disclosure requirements under the EU Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD), U.S. SEC climate rules, and related international frameworks.

To support compliance, the client needed to aggregate high-volume ESG data from hundreds of operational sites worldwide. BBJ Group delivered an end-to-end solution covering data inventory, collection, management, and reporting across environmental (Scope 1–3 emissions, waste, water), social (health and safety, labor, supply chain), and governance (policies and compliance) metrics aligned with GRI, SASB, and double materiality principles.

As part of this project, our firm delivered:

  • Automated data collection and validation from disparate facility systems
  • Semi-automated processing to calculate benchmarks, identify CSRD/CSDDD reporting gaps, and support Scope 3 supplier assessments
  • Real-time dashboards and audit-ready outputs for board reviews, investor briefings, and public filings, with site-level drill-downs

BBJ Group also implemented dynamic materiality matrices to prioritize stakeholder concerns such as climate resilience and ethical sourcing, while enabling value-chain impact assessments to meet European regulatory expectations. The result transformed fragmented operational data into actionable intelligence, strengthening risk management, improving transparency, and accelerating decarbonization across the client’s global portfolio.
