About Kevin McCartney

Mr. McCartney is a licensed professional geologist with more than 20 years of leadership experience in environmental consulting and with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Superfund and Emergency Management Division. He has successfully led large-scale site investigation, remediation, and redevelopment initiatives under CERCLA, RCRA, and state cleanup programs across the United States, as well as directed environmental due diligence projects for M&A transactions on sites throughout the Americas, Europe, and Asia.

A trusted advisor to public and private-sector clients, Mr. McCartney has led high-performing, multidisciplinary teams to deliver strategic, compliant, and cost-effective environmental solutions. His work spans multiple industries—including finance, legal, manufacturing, real estate, municipal, and transportation—supporting complex projects that align client objectives with pragmatic technical strategies.

Mr. McCartney is recognized for his expertise in groundwater and soil investigations, vapor intrusion mitigation, brownfield redevelopment, environmental due diligence, and liability and risk assessment. He holds dual B.S. degrees in Geology & Geophysics and History from the University of Wisconsin–Madison.
